I moved to the Rockies from Ontario with a car full of gear and absolutely no plan.

That was over a decade ago. What followed was the classic Bow Valley story — seasonal work, staff accommodation, apartment hunting in a market where landlords hold every card. Properties sold mid-lease. Roommates disappeared. Rent jumped $400 overnight. So you move. Again.

Eleven times in nine years.

Every single move meant the same thing: hunting down cardboard boxes from the liquor store at 9pm, taping the bottoms three times hoping they'd hold, watching a box of dishes fold in half halfway down the stairs. Broken glasses. Wasted packing tape. Bags of cardboard dragged to the recycling bin at the end of it.

There had to be a better way.

Box Mule started with one simple idea — what if the boxes just showed up at your door? Tough ones. Plastic ones. With handles and lids that actually close. And when you're done, someone comes and takes them away.
